Fire Fighting Water Storage tanks are bolted panel steel structures that can either be constructed using hot dip galvanized steel sheet or zinc-aluminum corrugated sheet. They offer excellent corrosion resistance, durability and long life. Standards for FM GI Tank includes FM 4020 and NFPA 22. The Fire water tank capacities range from 20,000 Liters to 40,00,000 Liters.
The bolted panel structure can be easily dismantled and re-installed on different sites within a short span, hence providing high flexibility. The extra strength to the roof is provided by galvanized metal tube trusses and support trusses. A PVC Reinforced Liner is installed inside the tank that separates the water from the tank wall providing further internal protection from corrosion.
